The Maine Legislature has banned the bringing of firewood into Maine.
(Sec. 1. 12 MRSA § 8307)
Also the practice of transporting firewood for a distance of
more than 50 miles from home, even within the state is discouraged.
This is due to the threat of invasive insects that are transported
in the firewood.
Out of respect for the landowner and the north woods, we
no longer allow firewood to be brought into camp in order to protect
the forest from invasive insects.

The total that shows when making your
booking may not be the correct amount. Due to limited booking
options available online, clicking the wrong booking option or
bookings for dates between October 1 and May 15, your total may
be incorrect. Your
confirmation email will reflect the correct charge.
In order to be billed correctly for your
reservation you must tell me the number of adults and the number
of children under the age of 15 when staying in a cabin or
number of adults and dependent children under the age of 17
staying in the campsites. Additional
sleeping quarters and vehicle charges will apply at the
campsites when exceeding the maximum allowed as well.
If you wish to book a cabin or bunkhouse under the regular rate
that is on our website,

(It is 35% more than the Special rates.) You will need
to let me know in the “Special Requests” box when making your
reservation. I will
calculate the total price and the proper deposit amount will be
charged to your card.
The cancellation policy for regular rates that is shown
on our website will be in effect for reservations made under our
regular rates.
