To Reach Us...

Frost Pond Camps are located 3 miles in, after driving across Ripogenus Dam.

Directions:
When traveling from Millinocket, go to the end of route 157
and turn right, following the signs to Baxter State Park. At
the Northwoods Trading Post cross over to the "Golden" Road,
continue in the same direction but do not follow the signs to
Baxter State Park from this point on. Watch for the signs to
Ripogenus Dam and Frost Pond Camps. You can expect
to arrive in about one hour from Millinocket.

When traveling from Greenville, go straight through town.
Do not turn left on Route 15. You want to head north towards
Kokadjo, the road will turn to dirt. Continue on the dirt road
until you reach the "Golden" Road. Turn right towards Millinocket
and follow the signs to Ripogenus Dam and Frost Pond Camps.
You can expect to arrive in about 1 ½ hours from Greenville.

   The road from Greenville has a 17 mile, unpaved section that is not graded on a regular basis.  You may wish to use exit 244 of Interstate 95 and come in through Millinocket.
